everyone happy Saint Patrick's Day my name is Miss Wong and I am your library 8 to Fletcher drive I'm so excited today I brought out my Nifty little leprechaun trap fake decoy gold it will leave it out overnight and hopefully we can trap one of those tricky little leprechauns we'll see but I'm also really excited to read you a special story one of my favorite characters Pete the Cat and the great leprechaun Chase so let's see what Pete the Cat gets into this Pete the Cat the great leprechaun chase by James tomorrow is Saint Patrick's Day and please teacher mr. G is teaching about leprechauns the only time you can catch one is on Saint Patrick's Day a leprechaun will bring you good luck mr. Chasez now everyone in class wants a leprechaun cake it's a great idea he will open a leprechaun catching business Saint Patrick's Day comes and gather some supplies he hang the sign above his stand keeps lucky leprechaun catchers this will be easy thanks squirrel is Pete's first customer I want to look for coupons for El says I need good luck for my test cool I'm on its is Pete he has a plan he will follow rainbow until he finds a leprechaun finally he arrives at the end of the rainbow and finds Clover the leprechaun next to a pot of gold Pete sneaks up can you think we caught the Clover is too fast did you think you could catch me so easily he asked once there was a cat stop nagging some luck would be neat that he happened upon a smart leprechaun Foucault find quite tricky to feet Clover disappears in a puff of Green Smoke Pete will need a new plan no no keep back to the drawing board that afternoon guess visits Pete's lucky leprechaun catchers I want a leprechaun Ghost says I need good luck for my band recital pizzas I'll see what I can do he plans to lure Clover out with his music he plays a jaunty song on his guitar before long Clover dances over to keep Just a Little Closer thanks suddenly Clover start spinning around pink round and round Clover goes faster and faster oh no for wraps at Pete with the Rope Pete has finally met his match a crafty leprechaun he just can't catch him never win he better give in or find something else to that evening County visit Pete's lucky leprechaun catchers I want to leprechaun Kelly's I need good luck for my tennis match says Pete Saint Patrick's day is almost over there isn't much time left to catch a leprechaun but Pete won't give up yet he sets a trap for Clover before long Clover tiptoes up to the Trap and sniffs the air I love candy he whispers. Under the box Heatwave Ferry cheap dresses over in Texas 36 but it's empty he has tried many apart but still I haven't been, isn't it candy he has an idea he follows the trail of build sneaks up behind clover I'm helping my friend what does it come from having a leprechaun since Clover you and your friends have each other that already makes you as lucky as can be he is one very lucky cat and does it need a lucky leprechaun he left closer go friends nearby squirrel study for his grace is it he helped us workers for the recital and Gus Rahman in Cali what is it magically appears I have one more time for you Buckler hide and seek for something in it that you make love that you take any old day of the week happy Saint Patrick's Day alright everyone thank you for tuning turn it to today's Story Time with Pete the Cat the great leprechaun chase by James Dean If you happen to get lucky enough to catch a leprechaun in your trap just remember to let it go at the end of the day alright everyone bye for now
